Church of Santi Apostoli – Floral Design in Florence

The Church of Santi Apostoli is one of the places in Florence where I have created floral designs for wedding ceremonies. The photographs document a project in white and green, with arrangements at the entrance, along the aisle and around the altar, considered in relation to the architecture and light of the church.

In a sacred space, floral design has to take account of the ceremony, the rules of the venue and the proportions of the architecture. I can develop the project directly or work with wedding planners and other professionals from an existing creative direction, translating it into a design that can be realistically produced.

Having worked at Santi Apostoli before provides useful practical knowledge without turning a previous design into a formula for another ceremony.
