Chapel of San Luca – historic chapel in the Santissima Annunziata complex
The Chapel of San Luca, inside the Santissima Annunziata complex, is an intimate space where art, history and spirituality are closely intertwined. It is chosen by couples who wish for a wedding in a small historic chapel in Florence, away from the spotlight yet full of meaning, and by many international couples looking for an authentic, measured wedding in Florence. Here the wedding floral arrangements must accompany artworks and architecture with great discretion.
When I design a floral setting in the Chapel of San Luca, I start from the dialogue between architecture, paintings, sculptures and light. I help you understand where it is possible to place flowers – entrance, altar area, seating – and to what extent, so that the arrangements support the ceremony while remaining in harmony with the space. Every project is born from listening and from the way you wish to weave spiritual experience, art and your story, in balance with the chapel’s rules and your budget, with floral design in Florence that is subtle and respectful.
